Kohlschmaus on a Sunday Lunchtime – Traditional Kale Indulgence
A hearty kale meal is part of the cold season in northern Germany – relaxed, sociable and with attentive service on board the Weser.
The Kohlschmaus is the calmer sister of our Kohlparty: no DJ, no late hours, just a cosy Sunday lunchtime with good food and a sociable atmosphere. Leave everyday life behind and enjoy a northern German tradition in a relaxed setting.
Indulgence and Tradition: The Kale Menu
After a welcome schnapps, your culinary Sunday begins with a hot Hochzeitssuppe (chicken soup with egg royale and vegetables). The buffet that follows offers a classic northern German kale meal with kale, Pinkel sausage, smoked sausage, Kassler, pork belly and salt potatoes. The Kohlschmaus is rounded off with Rote Grütze (red berry pudding) and fine vanilla sauce.
For guests who don't care for kale or who eat vegetarian or vegan, alternatives are available (please order in advance).
Service with Calm and Care
Throughout the cruise, our service team takes care of your drinks and wishes. No queueing at the bar, no rush – just relaxed enjoyment at a set table.
