On the Weserfähre-Bremen things are a little busier: commuters, cyclists, and tourists use the crossing daily. Both lines have one thing in common – they are your ship, your responsibility, your stage in the middle of the river.

Job Description

You operate the passenger and bicycle ferry between Osterdeich and Café Sand in single-person operation, or the Weserfähre-Bremen, in full compliance with all statutory and operational regulations. Preparing the vessel before and after each trip and ensuring there is always sufficient fuel and supplies on board is just as natural to you as checking and selling tickets. The safety of your passengers is always your top priority.

You take pride in “your ship” and ensure it is always in top condition, both visually and technically. The shipping company can count on you as a reliable team player who brings all their experience – or is eager to gain it with us. Your workplace is where others spend their leisure time. That is why working evenings or weekends does not bother you. A nine-to-five job is not for you; you are customer- and service-oriented and speak good German.
