From Martinianleger, the cruise leads along the Schlachte and through the modern Overseas Quarter to the Oslebshausen lock. After the exciting lock passage, the ship crosses several harbour basins of Bremen's industrial port, which handles around one third of the total turnover of Bremen's city harbours.
The cruise is accompanied by independent cultural scientist Christine Glenewinkel, who provides well-founded and vivid explanations about the history, present and future of the industrial harbour as well as the areas along the route during the journey.
